How long would you like to hold on being a champion? Do you know that you can be a champion forever? Ask me how? Duplicate yourself so that you can perpetuate your champion status. The world continues because of duplication. Bro Bo in his latest book “How to Prosper” expounded the reason and wonder of duplication. It is Bro Bo’s ACTION 4 in aforementioned book p59-67.
But how do we successfully duplicate doing our IMG Mission? We just have to follow our System. In short we must be SYTEM DRIVEN. Our Field Training and Meetings and Events are all geared towards making duplicates…. that are in compliance to a proven methodology or system. Just like Jollibee, that follows a certain system on how the façade of the outlet will look like, how the counter will be arranged, how the patties are prepared, how the crew are trained and dressed, these all follow a uniform rules and procedures or system. Systems make sure that the results will be repeatable and predictable. No System = “Tsamba” (Chance of Success), With System = Predictable and Repeatable Success…
In my experience as Training Manager for big electronics manufacturing companies, we train our people based on a uniform system and procedures we call Specifications and this is done all over the factory and all over the world where we have factories. This ensures that a proven system is duplicated and implemented all over to guarantee the same quality of our end product. Same in IMG, to guarantee success and create champions, we must adhere and be driven by the system.
I had gone out to the field and got trained on how to arrange meetings, BMPs (Bring Meeting to the People) and how to conduct one. Then, we also got trained how to conduct BPM (Bring People to the Meeting). This is our system of duplication which we had passed on to our duplicates and who in turn pass on to their own duplicates, thus making us rapidly do the duplication process, and in turn guarantee that duplication gets perpetuated. And when the duplication is done according to the SYSTEM then, achieving success is predictable and guaranteed.
This brings us to the next thing we need to do in our Mission in IMG which is to Duplicate Deep and Wide… What does that exactly mean? It simply means that we must ensure that people whom we take in as direct business partners are our exact duplicates and the business partners they have are also their exact copies. If we make a mistake in the setting up of our first business partner, the mistake is duplicated and magnified to the next copies. Just like in actual photocopying. If the master copy is not clear, all other copies becomes unclear and degrades further down. And, again, you can only ensure you have proper duplication if it is based on a system.
And how do we do this? We need to make sure that we develop, guide and coach our direct business partners as well as find time to assist and check how they train their directs also. We also need to ensure that we check on the training materials being used if it is in compliance with the system. It is not so much of the way it is presented, but is more of what is being presented. Build wide is to have many direct copies. Build deep is to have more copies of your direct copies… That way, multiplication and compounding works to your advantage.
What are we duplicating? Ask me what? … We would like people to duplicate us…our journey towards financial freedom, our change life… That is our MISSION…. So to make sure we become real Champions in the eyes of men and the eyes of God, we must make sure we really change people’s lives starting with ourselves. We have to focus on that MISSION.
I read this story about St. Anthony the Great (The Patron Saint of all Monks). One time in the life of this great saint he got a notice that people are about to visit him who lived by words and arguments. They wanted to hear his words and his arguments on the truth of Christianity and the value of ascetism. But he refused to play their game. He told them that if they truly thought him wise, "If you think me wise, become what I am, for we ought to imitate the good. Had I gone to you, I should have imitated you, but, since you have come to me, become what I am, for I am a Christian."
The lesson I learn from this great saint is that, it is not so much of the intellect and words that really matters, it is what we do and who we are or what we have become that needs to be duplicated. And this is what we must focus on…Become what we preach and then have ourselves duplicated. Become financially free and create people, convert people, transform people to become financially independent too. That’s our focus in duplication.
Finally, the last thing I believe we need to make sure we do to ensure we are indeed true champions is to make sure we Stay CONNECTED and Updated… Kodak, the largest photo film maker in the whole world collapsed after 135 years of existence. Why did this happen? You want to know my simple theory about it? They failed to connect and ride on the changes that were swiftly happening. They were not able to connect and update to the digitized world of photography and they perished.
The lesson here is to stay as champions, we got to be forward looking and always updated. In our System getting updated means having the Meeting Mentality. For it is in the meetings that we stay connected and updated. What meetings do we have to attend? In our IMG Mission, just like our church mission, we have to make sure we always go to church regularly to get refreshed and refocused. Just like an operating system, you have to get updated so you can cope up with the latest. Imagine your computer OS still un-updated to at least Windows 7, wow…there are a lot of applications that won’t run in your computer. You got to stay connected or face the consequence of being obsolete…..
You see, duplication of obsoletes leads to naught…. Thus duplication that is for real champions is not mere copying. Duplication is “copying in motion”. What I mean by that is , the master copy is continually improved, and the copies are revised. And to be one or two steps ahead of competition, we have to connect not just with what is now, but what is ahead.
Let’s go back to Manny Pacquiao our undisputed champion of champions. His style of boxing, and his techniques are not the same when he started to box. He has continually improved and upgraded his skills that enabled him to beat champions on the next heavier weight divisions. He did not update his skills on his current weight divisions and challengers but on the next higher weight division…what was ahead of him.
Much the same way with us in this IMG Mission. We have to continually update and upgrade our knowledge and skills by attending continuing education and seminar, attending convention and meetings, and making sure that we are updated. Then we need to upgrade our skills and capabilities on what is now and what lies ahead. In our team, that is what we do. We are always on the go to be one to two steps ahead of the rest. We use technology and the multi-media to our best advantage. Then, to ensure success, we have to make sure the rest of our team are also updated and upgraded.
You want to be Champion Forever? DUPLICATE..Duplicate by adhering to the system, doing it deep and wide, always guided and focused on the mission and do it at least one step ahead.

Relentless CHAMPIONS of 2012
Manny Pacquiao have goals and been continuously coached and trained, but that won’t guarantee him to be a Champion. He also need to be Relentless in his pursuit to be a true champion. What is being relentless? Webster defines it as: showing or promising no abatement of severity, intensity, strength or pace…. Clear? “Mas madali intindihin pag tagalog”: “walang tigil”…. “di tumitirik” (Easier said in the vernacular: unstoppable)… We saw Manny climb from one weight division to the next higher level.
So that’s the first thing we have to put into practice, like what Manny did, we need to continuously upgrade our goals. Once we achieve a particular goal, we should not rest on our laurels and stay complacent. We must drive to the next higher goal. And if we do it continually we ride on the momentum. Take anything in motion, like a bus or car. If it stops and goes towards a certain destination (goal), it takes more time and more gasoline (effort) to do it. But if it is continuous, it rides on the speed and momentum and reaches the destination faster. Same way in being a champion in our IMG Mission. The pursuit of the next higher level of performance and achievements can only be sustained by increasing your goals continually relentlessly. Our performance is tied up to our proficiency. The more we do what we do, the more we become proficient and thus our performance increases. If we stop increasing our goals, we would also stop growing in our proficiency and stagnate. In our 4 years of doing the IMG Mission, we always come up with an aggressive goals doubling even tripling our quarterly performance to keep us going. More often , we missed on our target, but we certainly become better than the last time.
In the Gospel of Luke 18: 5 “Yet because this widow troubleth me. I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.” How do we stay relentless in our pursuit of our goals? We need to persevere like the widow who did not let up in her prayers. “Kung may tiyaga, may nilaga”…this is what perseverance is all about. We have to persist to be a champion. We have to go through what is severe opposition… exactly what the Latin word is “perseverer” (per- through, and severus-severe). If we continue to persist in our mission in spite of severe opposition or discouragement we become true champion. If you keep pushing on a solid and strong wall, you may not be able to push the wall even a tiny fraction of a millimeter. But surely after a long period of time you will develop your muscle strength. Your capability to push will be heightened. Same is true in our IMG Mission. If we encounter opposition or counter influence, it makes us stronger if we go through it. In our early years of doing this IMG business with mission, we had encountered a lot of contradictions, oppositions, and outright humiliations. Some of my dearly loved people even called me names, and humiliated and hurt me. But it did not stop us. It only made us stronger and bolder. We decided to persevere in the mission, and go through the opposition. We came out winners…Champions!
T. Harv Eker:”Set yourself up for success by creating a mindset that focuses on opportunities instead of problems. What you focus on expands, so if you want to have more opportunities, focus on opportunities. Don’t get hung up on obstacles, barriers or all the bad news you see in the media.” Simply said, Stay POSITIVE! There is really so much negativity in the world around us. You see and hear daily news that contains more of unpleasant events in politics, showbiz and ordinary people’s lives. You watch “telenovelas” and the plot is all about, deceit, corruption, lust, greed. And that is what most people feed their mind. If we want to be a true champion, we must have a positive mind-set which we can have by going with people of the same mind-set. By reading, studying, listening to something positive like Praise and Worship songs, Books on Bro Bo Sanchez, and most importantly the Bible. In this IMG Mission, opposition, and rejections are common thing for people are really lacking in Financial Literacy. We have gone through this by believing in our mission and staying positive.
What fuels us to keep going is the desire to achieve the SMART-CY (discussed in my previous blog) goals we have set. When there are set-backs and down fall we look up and Focus to our Dreams and it keep us going. Why is that? We made our dreams so compelling that there will be no other bigger reason for us to stop. We want to give the best to our children’s children. We want to make sure we are financially free. We want to donate to Bro Bo’s ministry, the Anawim a sum of 5M in 2014, plus so many other dreams that can only be fulfilled by pursuing our dreams RELENTLESSLY….

Champions of 2012
Everyone wants to be a winner, a Champion, but not everyone can. Wanting is the first thing to do and the easier part. Working out to be a champion is the difficult part, the painful part which most people avoid. That is why not everyone becomes a champion.
In our mission, we have found these 4 tenets to be most important ones that make us champions.
1. Stay FOCUSed
2. Continuously TRAIN
3. Be RELENTLess
4. DUPLICATE
How do we stay FOCUSed…
When things are not focused on, it remains blurred and unclear. When things are unclear and not understandable it cannot be formed into reality. Take the (LED) projector as an example, if it is focused, it projects clear image, and thus can be read and understood. What is understood can then be performed or done.
Same is true with what the mind focus on. When we focus our minds, we are clear on our goals or what we want to achieve. But how do we do this? Ask me HOW???
First we need to make sure we define what we want to achieve the SMART-CY way. I would like to define this as Specific, Measureable, Aggressive, yet Realistic, and Time Bounded attached to your Compelling Y (Why). We must ensure that we are very specific in our goals. It must not be generic like saying I want to be super rich. Transforming this to SMART-CY would be I want to have a passive income of 1M start of Jan 2014 to donate 5M to Anawin by Dec 2014.
Memorizing all your goals is something okay but can be improved by simply writing it down. In the Wealth Circle we attended, Bro Bo asked us to write down 40 goals that come to our mind. But before he did that, he also shared his 40 goals with us. At this point, I want you to define just 4 Major Dreams or Goals in life you have. Just continue with this list and grow it to 40 or even more when you get home. Do it as a family. It is fun. It is even more fun to put it into pictures. Or vision boards.
Next thing we can do to is to connect our goals to our compelling reasons or emotional why. Why do we want to achieve these goals? If we cannot connect our goals to a compelling reason, then it is a weak goal, a goal that is blurred and can get us defocused. Our compelling reason must be strong enough to keep us focused on our mission.
In our Trainers Manual, the very first page we have there is the Top 10 Reasons why we want to be successful in IMG Business. I urge you to really do this. This makes sure that our focus is super clear. As an example, my compelling reason why I want to have a passive income of 1M per month in this business is for us to be able o donate 5M/year to Anawim starting 2014. The best goals to define is in unison with your compelling reason. Thus, it is really very important we complete our Top 10 Compelling Reasons. If we attach our goals to a reason, especially that of acquiring wealth, then we will not be chasing the wind. Amen!
Then our next step is to continuously pray for our goals daily. Lift up to God all our goals and plans in life and let Him bless and make them reality. For he promised in Mt7:7 Ask and you shall receive….
Achieving the goals we set won’t happen if we are not equipped and trained to achieve them. We see Manny Pacquiao fight on top of the ring, but not everyone see the difficult training he goes through before he steps in to the ring. He trains very hard and that is why he is equipped to win and be a champion. In our mission, we have to Train hard and continuously…
Our company is so generous as far as training is concerned. We are trained how to be Financially Literate as well as how to be a Successful Entrepreneur. Training is achieved by attending meetings, events, and conventions and. In our own journey towards becoming financial advisers, and successful entrepreneur, we made sure we attend meeting every Wednesday to increase our Financial IQ, and Friday to improve our business know-how. Then we also attend our team meetings for updates and recognition. I encourage you to do the same.
The best training happens in the field. I would consider this as the actual hands-on training. Training in the classroom develops our mindsets, while the field enhances our skills. Classroom flexes our mind, while the field strengthens our heart. The more we go to the field, the more we believe what we do, the more we learn how to share our mission, and the more we gain confidence. Rejections are what stretch our capabilities, while our wins and successes make us more confident and inspired to go for more wins. Practice makes perfect.
Then, we supplement our training by reading books. Our System Builder is the best book to read and reread to learn. We read books by Bro Bo the 8 Secrets, the 8 Habits of Happy Millionaires, and How to Prosper among others. We attend other seminars and most importantly, we attend the Feast every Sunday at PICC.
Financial Education never stops. Learning is a continuous process.
Manny Pacquiao needs a coach to be properly trained. Someone who analyses and looks at how he moves, and how his opponents moves. He then comes out with a game plan and a training plan to develop the skills to prepare him for the fight. Same with IMG. We have to have our Coach or Trainer. In our own experience, we looked up to those who had been successful in IMG like Mam Shirley and Sir Manny San Miguel, Mam Ginalyn and Sir Rey Labrado the two husband and wife CEO Team of IMG that we admire and look up to as our coach . We listen and learn from Sir Joen and Sir Noel. Sir Joen for the business strategies, and Sir Noel for the Financial Literacy. We also do not miss the opportunity to listen to WFG Leaders like Vivian Olero. Most especially to our Head Coach Xuan Nguyen. We also get coaching on investment strategies from Rex Mendoza. Listening to their coaching hasten our process of being our own financial coach. And our best source of coaching is through our spiritual mentor, Bro Bo Sanchez.
We then take time to analyze our business progress every month and come out with strategies every 6 months to achieve our goals. We use the 4S Methodology to do this. This is discussed in detail in another blog. We pick out the best techniques and ideas from our coaches or mentors and innovate for success. One innovation we have done is to make full use of multimedia and computer technology to our advantage. We also had made sure; we build strong relationships with our business partners through our meetings and informal gatherings. We take time out to stop by and drop by with our business partners to provide informal coaching sessions. We get coached and we coach others. It is like a getting our bucket filled up and emptying it up to our team on a continuing cycle.
If you have champion coaches like them, you are a sure champion, and eventually can become a champion coach yourself!

Operation Macau! 30-Days Relentless Run... using 4S's
Just concluded a Truly Rich Makers- IMG (International Marketing Group) Meeting: Operation Macau yesterday. Focus of our learning and planning session is 4S: Structure, Strategy, Schedule, System. Our main goal is to be able to map out how we will achieve in 30days our individual goals in our IMG Business. My personal goal is to be CEO-MD on or before September 5.... (A Special day for me... But that's not the intent of this blog).
The intent of this blog is to share how we will help move to the next level our team mates in Truly Rich Makers Team. we will support Nancy and Manny Martin, Malou and Vener Torres, Malvin and Matin Leano, and Raquel and Joey Arellano who are our MDs-Marketing Directors, in their journey towards SMD- Senior Marketing Directors. Before we think of how to use the 4S in achieving our goals, we start by making sure we are clear as to what our goals are and that it is really something we desire. It should come from within. It should be a common goal between your trainer and yourself , but it definitely must be an internal desire. Once that is settled, then you may proceed to do the 4Ss.
Now, how will we achieve this goal? What will be our our tool?
This is what I have proven to work- 4S: Structure, Strategy, Schedule, and System.... Each one disctinct yet inseparable as they are interconnected.
STRUCTURE:We need to define our Structure. And in IMG Business, all we need to focus on is our first 3 Business Partners. We can do the business alone, but we can only have a big business if we have a big team.
Take a look at all businesses all around. It is made up of Organizational Structure. I worked for 28 years in many companies and held different positions and levels and had to make sure I have a solid organizational structure. We need to make sure we like the people we work with.
So, same with our IMG Business. Whom should you hire as your business associates? Of course, the people you are most comfortable with. People whom you would like to help. People whom you feel good about.
If you just started in the business of IMG, or you had been in the business but you have not been able to put up a team, draw your structure, check out the names you have listed. The, check out your feelings if they join you already...If it feels really really good, it will happen (Power of Attraction), and if they are already in your team and you feel good, you have a very strong team.
What your mind can conceive, will materialize if you focus on it and it really is creating good feelings as it is done out of love for others and for God!
For those running for the higher levels, do the same, draw-up your structure and color code it for those who joined already as green and those you would like to be part of your team in red. Again,make sure the structure is simple and is built on MD club teams or 3:3 set up. MD Clubs are strong teams. Build on this simple structure.

And guess what? I also have three (3) things we need everyone to consider in our Strategy: 1.) first is to simply focus on our first three, 2.) then, make sure your first three gets supported and focus as well on their first three, and 3.) lastly, train your associates to be trainers as well.
The first three business associate you will have must be the result of your initial 5 top prospects Field Training. These 5 top prospects must be the results of screening at least 25 names on your prospect list. Get your first 3 business associates within 7 days for fast start and within 30 days for normal speed. Then, ensure you help out your first 3 to get also their first 3. If you have friends who would like to join you and you are already with complete 3 associates under you, get your recruit under your associates. Give it up to your associates so you help them get promoted as well. Do not go wide till you get to MD position.
To ensure that your associates can indeed help their associates to build their team, you need to train them to be trainers. Then this process is repeated over and over again.
There are two ways you become MD in IMG. One is through 30:30:90 Structure or by having 1M Sales. I advise that you set up your structure on MD Clubs or 3:3 and be promoted whichever comes first...Your 30 in your team or your 1 Million in 90 days....
To hasten this process, you need team of trainers to help you out, thus it is important that you really spend time training your associates to be trainers. Because if you have a lot of trainers in your team, you can invite and present to more people per day. Consider this, it is better and much easier to have 1% of 100 people, than 100% of 1. Not developing trainers in our team and simply relying on ourselves as trainers is exactly our mistake before. We developed ourselves as trainers but failed to develop immediately our associates to be trainers. So we are not duplicated fast enough. Do not commit the same mistake. Create trainers. Develop trainers. Train the trainers, especially out there in the field.
To correct this mistake, we have developed training materials that is so simple,complete, and easy to present. So anyone can present. And, by the way, it is not necessary that you are a good speaker to be a trainer in IMG...no no no... you have to be a doer. In our company, all you have to do is to make sure you execute the concepts you have learned and you just share it with people. Diction, your education, your professional affiliations does not matter much, what matters is whether You Do WHat You Say!!!.. And training the trainers comes natural during FTS (Field Training). The purpose of FTS is to learn how to train and to earn. You earn while you learn. When you are the trainee you absorb as much as you can from your trainer and then you will pass this on to your trainee when your turn comes as the trainer. We are all expected to be able to train within our first 5 FTS.
SCHEDULE: What we put into our minds, and plan for won't happen unless we execute it. And to execute it based on a defined timeline is the best way to do it. This will give us a way to monitor progress of our plans and goals. Be aggressive with your plans.
In our case, we reset all our time and set up completion of our strategies and plans within 30 days. Then we break down by weeks and then days what should be the outcome.
So if you want to be an MD in 30 days and you are starting from scratch ( zero, nothing), then you need to make sure you go for 8 MD Clubs or 32 people. This means you and your team need to talk to 300 People in 30 Days or about 10 people per day and present to them the concepts. Of course, if you have developed your associates to be trainers, this tasks spreads and your efforts will compound. If you do not have a team, you will do it alone for 30 days.
Then ensure , you plug in the results of your daily activities into your structure chart and points monitoring worksheets (If you do not have this, will be willing to share this to you)...
Then, you,your coach and your team needs to monitor this closely and give feedback. Attend also the team meetings for guidance and sharing of activities.
The last thing to do is to make sure we adhere to the SYSTEM. And in our SYSTEM, there are two things we need to maximize to grow big in this business. These are: 1.) Match-up, and 2.) Referrals... We must not limit ourselves to whom we can reach physically, but whom our team can reach all over the Philippines and all over the world. Do not depend just on yourself. Maximize your coverage through Match-ups and Referrals.
Follow the SYSTEM Flow, Prospect, Invite, Present, Close- Hiring Interview , FTS . Use the Survey forms to prospect, use your FB shout-outs, be on the go! Daily activities. Be relentless!
Finally, after executing the 4S, let's not forget that in everything we do, we must not rely only on our own strength and wisdom. We must seek always the divine guidance of our God and offer back to Him our plans. Do everything in the name of love for HIM who makes all things possible, and love to all the people we will bring into this business.

IMG Singapore Convention June 5, 2011- Building Big Business!
IMG- International Marketing Group where Fely and I are affiliated as Independent Marketing Representative had another convention this year at Singapore Suntec International Convention Center in the heart of Singapore City. It was a very well attended event and the speakers are Xuan Nguyen our Head Coach and Chairman of IMG, Vivian Olero a Filipino IT Professional based in California who is just promoted to CEO and one of the top leaders in the whole of USA, and the young and energetic Johnny Mehrian. Johnny is only 26 years old but has a mindset and principles of a 50 year old businessman!
There were more than 300 attendees in this convention who came from all over the world. More than half however,came from the Philippines and from our own team, we were 17. Our (Truly Rich Makers Team) biggest delegation so far in an International Convention.

Malou is one of our MDs who were in the Convention. MD Malou and Vener received their Plaque as MD-Marketing Director in this convention along with Quey/Joey Arellano, and Nancy/Manny Martin (Watch out for my coming blog for these very special women in our IMG Team!).Others who were with us are the couple Malvin and Matin who were awarded MDs in our Hong Kong Convention. I have summarized and written here the Key Concepts I learned fom the Convention. May this help you in doing your IMG Business or whatever business you maybe indulged in right now. The principles are so universal that it applies to all kinds of business.
The first speaker was Vivian Olero. She is a Graduate of Adamson University and had moved to California USA on a working visa in 1999. She is an IT Professional and earns well in her profession. Her story is truly inspiring. She was born poor and her parents were poor. But she strove hard to study and she finished her degree, the only one who was able to do it in her family because of their financial difficulty. So when she moved to the USA, like most of us who are well off, her family continued to need her support. The most dramatic need came when her sister was diagnosed with cancer. She needed to have extra income to sent to her family and this motivated her to start as part time her business. She actually invited herself to do the business and she did the business relentlessly without excuses even if she was doing it part time.
These are her winning principles:
- This business not only provides what are tangibles. It also has intangible gains...like building your character... It is not being rich or popular that matters, it is believing in what we do!!
- We need to live by example to our team. We must be 20X better than our team members so we can gain their respect..
- Do this business without excuse to live a legacy to your family!
Here are the Pointers on How to Conduct Your IMG Business:
1.) Do FAST Start! Go deep with new recruit fast before they die.... because they will die fast...
2.) Make yourself predictable! Always go to the meeting and follow the system...
3.) Set your Goals and Hit it! You want to be big in the business... No EXCUSES... as every excuse brings me away from my dreams and goals...
4.) Become a Trainer (P263 of System Builder). In this business , if you are not a trainer, you are dead! And who is a Trainer? ...Somebody who have guts!
5.) Have A Business Work Ethics... Predictable in going to the meetings, have an office, have an Admin Clerk to do your paper works so you can devote more time to do the business, have the machines and technology to help you,and be in business attire!!!
6.) Have Big Vision... The danger in life is not that we set big goals in life and missed it... it is when we set small goals and always hit it...and be satisfied with it....
7.) Don't change your lifestyle.... when you win in this business, do not flaunt your success and change your lifestyle. continue to be who you are, what you are....
8.) If I can do it...You can do it! Believe in yourself...Do not be jealous... emulate...be inspired instead....
9.) Do not compare yourself to the bottom, compare yourself to the top to keep you inspired and going...
The second speaker was Johnny Mehrian. He is the younger brother of Pedhi Mehrian. I wrote about him in my last blog. He is now 5 years in the business. He is a "Karate Kid" ... a member of the USA National Team so beware with your comments (joke only...)
He shared about his experience in his Jr Olympics days... 9 months into training he broke his foot and his "sensei" or teacher/trainer challenged him to decide to fight or not... he fought and won...much the same about life...you need to fight. "Life is a fight...keep fighting"... - Trainers must have URGENCY... within the next 48 hours the things you do and you don't do determines if your recruit stays in the business or not.

- Treat your new recruit as an MD in the making.
- Hula hoops are same as our IMG Fast Spin. The faster you spin, the more Leaders and Trainers are raised up and keeps going. The momentum picks it up. The moment you stop, everyone drops...
- Always check your bubble chart...your organization...your team...your baseshop
_ Big base mentality.(P190 of System Builder)
Xuan Nguyen our Head Coach and Head Trainer , the author of the System Builder Book provided us with the best training.In his usual fighting mood, Xuan emphatically trained us on the conduct of our business to ensure our success. Here are the excerpts of the points he stressed:
- There are many crisis in the world today. But one big and really closest all will face is the retirement crisis!...because alot of people have problems making money.. If in your accumulation stage you are not able to accumulate money for retirement... guess what will happen when you are going to use the money you should have accumulated before you retire?
- Make money as much as you can when you can.... and save as much as you can...
- We are business people... and we are in business for people (slightly modified)
- Social change not same speed as couple's change
- There is a New World Order... There is a lot of unemployment, Job moves, and is taken away by automation.
- Before, careers makes people rich, but now even doctors, lawyers, and those with doctorate degrees find themselves in financial troubles. Think what can make you rich? Is it career? It is business that will make you rich.... What business?
- Be in a business that is predictable and proven ... Systematized (Franchising)
- The world will go "mass marketing"... you can get anything now on-line.... by yourself...
- The future is : multi task , felxible, fast, motivated, and aggressive entrepreneur!
- Water vs Wood... Fluid that flows vs Solid that isn't free flowing... System Builder is the career for the 21st century..
- 21st century will bring death to Networking, MLM, sales people and Travel Agency... What will survive are real business...
- IMG is a real business...with real product with a proven System!
- Build a big business/big organizationnwith a predictable system... "How many System Builders do you have in your Team?"
- Our Job is to build an MD Factory...
- Think and Grow Rich is OBSOLETE!
- Have a Recruiting Mentality, Fast Start Mentality- Do Everything Fast, Meeting Mentality(Most Important)...you dont show up in the meeting, you are dead, you are not counted in..., and lastly have Team Work Mentality
- Education centuries ago is a privilege...
- Watches are priced possessions and not all can have it in the past...
- Not everyone has TV Set...(My addition)
- Today..KNOWLEDGE is accessible more than ever compared to our past.
- Today, it is not all about Knowledge, but how to USE this knowledge...doing something about it..
- What good is a PhD if you are dead broke?
- The middle class is fading, the business class is emerging. Business Class are those who have KNOWLEDGE and follow it up with ACTION...
ABOUT RECRUITING:
- Most people want to join...some don't...So if you want more recurits , invite and talk to more people. Check your statistics. Generally factor in 10%. Use law of averages. Large population, large possibilities...
- You are always one recruit away from explosion...
- WHY: Define your compelling reason .... your strong reason to recruit and do this business...
- HOW: Combined EXCITEMENT and URGENCY...
- GOAL: Define your WHY and HOW with DEADLINES....... be GREAT!!!
ABOUT MEETING:
- Meet twice a week...
- Meet to retain people
- Selling is short term, while meeting is for long term....
THE WINNING GAME:
1.) You must have or create a STRONG REASON to do the BUSINESS. The CAUSE...Your PURPOSE!
2.) You must have a BIG Goal...
3.) Write it down and read it everyday (like what Bro Bo suggest we do in our BIG Dreams)
4.) Have a deadline...
5.) Do the business everyday!
6.) Reward yourself/your family if you hit your goal!
7.) Stay POSITIVE- Stay DISCIPLINED (Physically and Mentally)
8.) Be TEAM PLAYER... (Look up to everyone in the bigger team as well...the entire IMG is our TEAM all over the world!)
9.) Always lead by example....Stay in Front...don't just talk...Show....
10.) No EXCUSE... be relentless.....
THE INVENTION OF THE MD BUSINESS:
- It's a profitable Business
- It's "duplicatable" and Big Business
- It is build to last....
Our BUSINESS is SIMPLE CLEAR FAST and DOABLE !!!!
You have to have....
VISION- No vision you will perish... Your success depends on the size of your vision...
MISSION- A man or a team with a mission is a strong man or team...(like Truly Rich Maker's Team)
SYSTEM- Requires a lot of DISCIPLINE. No system small business...with system...BIG Business...
ENTREPRENEURSHIP- Be a businessman... requires a lot of work, a new habit...it's tough to show up early and stay late... answer phone call, and emails ASAP... Dress SHARP!!!

The second speaker was Johnny Mehrian. He is the younger brother of Pedhi Mehrian. I wrote about him in my last blog. He is now 5 years in the business. He is a "Karate Kid" ... a member of the USA National Team so beware with your comments (joke only...)
He shared about his experience in his Jr Olympics days... 9 months into training he broke his foot and his "sensei" or teacher/trainer challenged him to decide to fight or not... he fought and won...much the same about life...you need to fight. These are Johnny's winning principles:
- Want to win...for your family
- Find out who you are and who you want to be and fight for it...
- Quitting is not an option

Xuan Nguyen our Head Coach and Head Trainer , the author of the System Builder Book provided us with the best training.In his usual fighting mood, Xuan emphatically trained us on the conduct of our business to ensure our success. Here are the excerpts of the points he stressed:
- There are many crisis in the world today. But one big and really closest all will face is the retirement crisis!...because alot of people have problems making money.. If in your accumulation stage you are not able to accumulate money for retirement... guess what will happen when you are going to use the money you should have accumulated before you retire?
- Make money as much as you can when you can.... and save as much as you can...
- We are business people... and we are in business for people (slightly modified)
- Social change not same speed as couple's change
- There is a New World Order... There is a lot of unemployment, Job moves, and is taken away by automation.

- Be in a business that is predictable and proven ... Systematized (Franchising)

Winning Business Models...
The list of Filipino Billionaires had been published once again today in this page...http://http://www.inquirer.net/
Looking at what the top 3 Billionaires (in US $) have as a business... There are three things that I see they have in common...
First thing is that they have a business that is a One-Stop-Shop. They have all they need within the same group of companies. They have banks where they can borrow money for their investments. They own their construction company that builds their establishments. They have their own retail store which also has everything people will need. In short, a self sustainable conglomerate. In reality, they also By-Pass the Middleman as they get their needs from themselves.
Another is that they have Multiple Outlets all over the Philippines and some of them even globally positioned. They build many outlets to reach out to as many clients/customers.
These multi-billionaires are in their 70-80's and have accumulated their wealth across the decades. They make their billions work for them.
So if you want to be billionaires, we can pick up from this model. In IMG I see this business opportunity. You do not need to have billions to have the same business model. The income however, is definitely not far from achieving multi billions given 40-50 years.
Let's be happy billionaires too!....

To "Buffet or Not To Buffet" What is Best For Us?
In my latest blog on http://makemoneybyinvesting.blogspot.com I quoted a blog I had read about the validity of the "Buffet Method of Investing". I also talked about the latest strategy of Bro Bo which combines the proven methodology of Money Cost Averaging and the aggressive way of Day Trading.
We can take the best of these two worlds and combine them together. But one thing is certain, we must ensure that in any of these two or combination of both, we must ensure we get all pertinent information on the trends of what we are investing. If the stock pick you have is trading well within the boundaries of the max-max and min-min or what connect the most number of maximum share values for max-max and the minimum share values for min-min or in technical terms the thresholds, then this is a good candidate for Money Cost Averaging. Otherwise, it is good for Day Trading. When to get in and out, requires you to monitor status so that you can watch and see the trends which will be the basis for your decision to buy or sell.
Well, if you don't have the technical know-how, nor the time, go for the proven method. Better yet, just invest on Mutual Funds and let the Fund Managers do the monitoring , analysis and movements of your positions.
If you are into Mutual Funds, you just need to consistently invest. In other words do the "Buffet Method" of not timing the market, but just be disciplined in your investing.
